Paint vs Skin

I'm going to repaint Little Suzi from it's current plain white state. I have been considering getting it skinned instead of paint. I have seen plenty of camo skins and they look nice, but I want something with a bit more pizzaz. I'm thinking Texas flag themed. The ultimate advantage is I can peel off the skin if I ever need to.

What are your thoughts of paint vs skin?

One of my buddies does vinyl signs and put graphics on his pontoon boat.  Looks pretty sharp.

You can cut vinyl into any shape you want, it comes in a bunch of colors,  it'll last a long time, and you can change it in an afternoon.

Don't know about going Cabelas camo, but if you though it was a b***h to find your car keys in the morning, just try to find your invisible truck some evening.

If it's not done correctly, you get bubbles in it. If part of it tears or gets scratched, you can't exactly use normal touch-up paint.

True. This is definitely not a do it yourself job. I was hoping someone had some firsthand experience with them and know which brand was better, best designs, ect.

I used Houston Sign Company to get some vinyl on some dealership demo cars when the Scion brand first rolled out. 3 year warranty, and they held up well against I-10 traffic & lots of public demos (test-drives & random promotions around the city). I wouldn't be too terribly confident taking any vinyl wrap vehicle off-road though and expecting it to last very long. CarWraps also has an installer in Austin, and they've done some fancy work, but I've never used them.
