Not sure i'd jump to the women conclusion, could be a gay person, someone who has a beef with college males or anything. Sounds really strange though that the FBI isn't actively working any of these cases. Nice find as i hadn't really heard much about this till i read that article.

I just don't think it would be gay guys.  If all these guys are young college guys ~ all from different parts of the US, all lured to water ways (where they are drowned), they ain't going there with some stranger boys (i.e. to drink...that's something you do with buds... not strangers).  But women, on the other hand ~ college boys will follow a woman (or several) anywhere if they think it will be to their manly benefit. 

I just think it's so sick, but I kinda want to read more about it (is that sick too, or what?)

Are you talking from experience with the college boys? Actually young people in general do some weird things and it's not always related to getting the girl. It kind of seems like that would be the logical conclusion though from what little info they have so far. Then again look at John Wayne Gasey up in chicago and all the young boys he killed. Jeffery Daummer (sp) also comes to mind now that i think about it.
