One of my favorite beers!  They are finally bringing it to Raleigh here in a few weeks and I can't wait!

Outstanding. Sweet Water Brewing company just threw a big bash here. It was a blast. I am lucky, 420 can be found at just about every bar in Atlanta, and cases of it are on hand at the local grocery store. When you do get it up there be sure to pick up some hot Italian sausage and have some sausage and peppers with it, you will be glad you did.  :aok

Yes, I'm originally from Asheville and it's been available there a long time, I miss it a lot.  I had a friend bring down a couple cases for our 4/20 celebration.

They also had a Sweetwater tent at the World Beer Festival here this past weekend.  The Blue is a great beer too.

I hate to be such a downder, but... what in the news would be causing me to hoard food and ammo? Did we run out of something? Seriously, I have no idea what's going on in this thread, but if I'm supposed to be panicing, I want to know about it (do I need new duct-tape and celephane, or is my stuff from the panic of '02 still good?)

I saw a report about the price of rice doubling per ton in the past year.  Being that a lot of people in the world use rice as a staple food, some are thinking its time to buy it in bulk now before it gets even more expensive.  I think thats the gist.  Google it for the details.

Look at the price of grain! Since everyone got such a high on the thought of cheap fuel from ethanol grain prices have skyrocketed. This isn't limited to one product it's just getting warmed up and may soon snowball out of control. Rice and a few other grain products will last for years if stored properly and are good nutritional items. I just checked my shelfs and i have 2 lbs of rice, think i need to go grab me a few of them 35lb bags. :lol Being single that'd probably hold me for a year, along with some more spam. :rofl

Why would I want facts when I can instead rely on O'Club conjecture?  :)
