My shortest flights generally involve an Aircraft Carrier that starts turning right after I start my take off roll.  That particular aspect of the flight/physics model seems very counter intuitive to me.

Rolling out in my 38 on a capped field and trying to use the field gunners mound as a ramp to get airborne quicker...... doesn't work   :D

Choose something other than a 'bomber' to get you off the ground more quickly ...  ;)

Back before you could lock the tailwheel the F4U liked to swap ends on the takeoff roll. It happened to me a couple of times especially when loaded for bear.

I found  that on the Map with the dirt fields(can't remember the name) in the AvA, if you take of from the hanger and go straight you hit the other hanger....I did it a couple times.

Rolled a B-26 in a snapshot and didn't need ordnance.

Got my gear up and dropped 3 1k bombs a little too high.

Tower.    :D

Rolled out a 38G on a semi capped field, saw F6F rolling in for the kill, so I jerked up on the runway, knocked my tails, rudders, elevators, etc off. Then it put me airborne, in which I hit the radar tower, slammed into the ground, flipped, and ended up landing upside down inside the offset fighter hanger.
