What's wrong with a black lady sleeping in the White House?

If you saw the "Chance of a black lady sleeping in the whitehouse legally for the first time" shuffle and strut  dance and you are still asking this question, then I know where you are coming from.......nowhere.
The TCU comment was real sharp also.

Don't you think a good American can find fault with his Country?

Sure can. I find faults in my country when it goes to war without a plan for finishing it. When its filled with people who dont want to work, but expect me to carry them. When the bloated apes in government take money as bribes from lobbyists. When Hollywood stars think its more fashionable to adopt a kid from East Bumf--- than to help a kid down the street. When people who fear guns, think it in my best interest to do away with mine. When parents let TV and video games raise their kids. When people forget that church and state are to be separate. And when my country decides its fighting a war to protect us, but leaves the doors open to let anyone cross its borders.

Nothing. I'm sure Clinton has already beat anyone for this milestone.
Check your history I think that standard was met way back in the day say about 100 plus years ago.  http://www.visitingdc.com/president/thomas-jefferson-picture.htm

He is a preacher, that's what preachers do!! Geesh, he isn't running for office. He was giving a Sunday sermon. Sorry that he had emotion in his speech, that is his style. You shouldn't be so focused on him dancing, but rather on what he said.

Oh I focused on what he said alright. Me and a great many.
We have seen his emotions and we have seen earlier what he stands for. He`s just clearing it up.
TCU just loves him btw.
I`m more interested in who was associated with him for so many years and is now trying to distance himself.
The Rev is doing the opposite.
That`s a good thing.
The Rev is a moron extremist in the same mold as homie Sharpton and Jackson. Blabbering idiots.

Absolutely. I never posted anything that would indicate otherwise.

So, you want me to focus on what "Rev." Wright says? Fine. Here is what "Rev." Wright has to say:

Jeremiah Wright said the following yesterday,

"I do not in any way disagree with James Cone. Jim is a personal friend of mine."

If whiteness stands for all that is evil, blackness symbolizes all that is good. "Black theology," says Cone, "refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community … Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy."

So, Jeremiah Wright, Obama's spiritual advisor, the man Obama wouldn't disavow, the man who married Obama, who Obama exposed his children to, who Obama uses as a "sounding board", does "not in any way disagree" with the man who says,

"If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community … Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy."

Now, Obama DOES NOT disavow "Rev." Wright, and by that, he DOES NOT disavow James Cone. That's Obama, the "uniter", who "transcends race".

So now that I've focused on what "Rev." Wright has to say, are you satisfied and happy with that?

"I haven't seen Berlin yet, from the ground or the air, and I plan on doing both, BEFORE the war is over."

twentyfo... No, I don't think that is what preachers do.. I think it is what the negro preachers do.. it is the excuse that all negros make for their racism..  first it was "we can't be racists, only white people can be racists"  Now it is... "all black churches say these things.. it is traditional and we have the right."

If you blame white people as a race for anything.. you are a racist.   You can generalize of course if you say most whites do this or that...  so long as it is true.   just like you can say that negros are mostly the born illigitimate these days.

Hell.. you can even say that it was white people who infected negros with aids in a genocidal experiment... if you can prove it.. otherwise.. it is just racist, defeatest crap.

Keep whining.. nobody wants to be around you as it is.   the more you whine them more people back away.

Laz, are you affiliated with any people who were oppressed in slavery for generations?  No, I doubt it.  So keep telling us all about how they should feel and act.  I'm sure you have a firm understanding of it.

Quote
LET'S BE PERSONAL" Broadcast June 5, 1973 CFRB, Toronto, Ontario

Topic: "The Americans"

The United States dollar took another pounding on German, French and British exchanges this morning, hitting the lowest point ever known in West Germany. It has declined there by 41% since 1971 and this Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as the most generous and possibly the least-appreciated people in all the earth.

As long as sixty years ago, when I first started to read newspapers, I read of floods on the Yellow River and the Yangtze. Who rushed in with men and money to help? The Americans did.

They have helped control floods on the Nile, the Amazon, the Ganges and the Niger. Today, the rich bottom land of the Misssissippi is under water and no foreign land has sent a dollar to help. Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy, were lifted out of the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars and forgave other billions in debts. None of those countries is today paying even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States.

When the franc was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who propped it up and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on the streets of Paris. I was there. I saw it.

When distant cities are hit by earthquakes, it is the United States that hurries into help... Managua Nicaragua is one of the most recent examples. So far this spring, 59 American communities have been flattened by tornadoes. Nobody has helped.

The Marshall Plan .. the Truman Policy .. all pumped billions upon billions of dollars into discouraged countries. Now, newspapers in those countries are writing about the decadent war-mongering Americans.

I'd like to see one of those countries that is gloating over the erosion of the United States dollar build its own airplanes.

Come on... let's hear it! Does any other country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the Lockheed Tristar or the Douglas 107? If so, why don't they fly them? Why do all international lines except Russia fly American planes? Why does no other land on earth even consider putting a man or women on the moon?

You talk about Japanese technocracy and you get radios. You talk about German technocracy and you get automobiles. You talk about American technocracy and you find men on the moon, not once, but several times ... and safely home again. You talk about scandals and the Americans put theirs right in the store window for everyone to look at. Even the draft dodgers are not pursued and hounded. They are here on our streets, most of them ... unless they are breaking Canadian laws .. are getting American dollars from Ma and Pa at home to spend here.

When the Americans get out of this bind ... as they will... who could blame them if they said 'the hell with the rest of the world'. Let someone else buy the Israel bonds, Let someone else build or repair foreign dams or design foreign buildings that won't shake apart in earthquakes.

When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking down through age, it was the Americans who rebuilt them. When the Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose. Both are still broke. I can name to you 5,000 times when the Americans raced to the help of other people in trouble.

Can you name me even one time when someone else raced to the Americans in trouble? I don't think there was outside help even during the San Francisco earthquake.

Our neighbours have faced it alone and I am one Canadian who is damned tired of hearing them kicked around. They will come out of this thing with their flag high. And when they do, they are entitled to thumb their nose at the lands that are gloating over their present troubles.

I hope Canada is not one of these. But there are many smug, self-righteous Canadians. And finally, the American Red Cross was told at its 48th Annual meeting in New Orleans this morning that it was broke.

This year's disasters .. with the year less than half-over… has taken it all and nobody...but nobody... has helped.

Broadcast June 5, 1973 as true today as it was then.
