« on: June 02, 2008, 12:34:31 AM »
LGM Films proudly presents "The Doolitttle Raiders".
Final Edition

Come experience the mission that forever will be remembered in time, when heros would fly, and a nations pride would be restored.

This film is dedicated to those 80 men who flew in the Doolittle Raid on April 18, 1942.

A group effort made this film possible:
4440
A8Nisky
Betty
Blue
Condor00
dtis30
DUGY
HB555
Hibbie2
Strip
RDRTrash
WannaB
XSHAUNx

These 13 individuals volunteered their time and energy to someone who they really did not know for a greater cause.  Thanks for your help, inspiration and great ideas throughout the filming on those two nights.<S>  This film was released after 4 nights of work.  Then it was released again after 4 more hours of editing.  Now, 5 weeks later, it has been polished and is now ready to be released for the final edition.

Thanks to Fulmar/MrBucket for hosting the film on his website.

Should we post this in the General Discussion area too?  It's a large enough movie that I think it requires more attention of the more visited forums.

That, Kermit, was amazing fella. Its a shame it cant get a wider audience (by which I mean, a show like dogfights or something).

I've been wanting to watch this since the idea was first mooted - and boy, was it worth the wait.

<S> to all of you who made that possible, fantastic job, very well done.

Wonderful film kermit. I only wish I had submitted an updated fix for japan prior to your creation of this so that the beaches and transitions wouldn't have been so rough. Great cinematography.

Great work Kermit.  I watched the first edition and couldn't wait for the final to be released.  I can now say that it was well worth the wait.  Very nice, very touching.  As said before, it's a shame that more people do not get to see this.  I've sent it on to friends that I think would appreciate it.
