I don't find any scary as much as annoying and just have one category for that.

190, 51, Typh/Temp, LA7. BNZ and run at the first sign of the table starting to turn.

When I see a Spit XVI, I'm scared of the plane.

When I see a 109K4, I'm scared of the pilot.

When I see a D9, I just make sure to turn every 5 minutes or so.

When I see a Spit XVI BELOW me, I just keep going,

When I see a 109K4, I start looking around a bit,

When I see a D9, I pick it, then pick the 109K4 and the Spit XVI in my F4U  :t  :devil  :O

When I see a Niki,LA7 I figure he's gonna try to HO me.
When I see a 51 or 190 I figure he's make 1-2 BnZ passes and run like a 10yr old girl.
When I see a Spit16 3k below I figure he'll just do a 5k 90degree vert climb and get on my six still flying at 400, and blow my tail off no matter what I do so why bother (I can't do it but it happens to me quite frequently).

Don't lie.

Many people make claims that this happens all the time, yet nobody has ever, not once, been able to produce a film of it happening.

Know why?

Because it never happens, that's why.

I just attack anything near enough....
But when there are good sticks around, the Spixteen is pretty scary. I use the Mk. VIII as a "cure"  :devil

Least scary----190s and 51s.

One pass and they just run run run.

Scariest----being down low and slow with a Hurricane,110 or a Il2.

Most of the 51 encounters in this game are a joke.

They're either tryin to pick ya,or they're runnin.

Too many people confuse running with disengaging. Fly the plane the way it was meant to be flown. Pony's and especially Dora's are for BnZ'ing. Some guys may get a much needed testoterone boost thinking that the guy in the BnZ'er is simply running away from their skilled flying, but he may just be using his head. I guess he could always redeem his manhood by reversing his pony or Dora on that Niki that's co-E and only 1k behind him, but we know what that will get him. :uhoh
Everybody always gets upset when the other guy doesn't fly the way they want him to.

Also sometimes doras and ponys might really need to leave.(radiator hit, oil hit, etc.) They also might have lost an aileron or elevator or their rudder( all bad situations).  Same with other planes.  Also have you ever thought that ok a niki is 800 off and someone is in a pony going 200 at 8k.  Lets see what are your options
1.try to run straight outcome: he out accelerates and gets you
2. Dive and run outcome: you safely get out of the fight and can get altitude back and come back to the fight
3. Try to get in a low turing fight outcome:  NIKIs are too good they should be perked

I think a dive out is the best choice hear no matter how wimpy.  You don't have to bet that it is a bad pilot in this situation and you come back with more energy.

If you have a better ROC but less E or top speed, try to climb after the bugger.
Do not climb at best speed, - be faster. Then, if the foe turns back you have some space for maneuver.

just leaked out a professional secret there .  .  .  .   :devil

I,m neither confused or upset.

I know running when I see it.

If I have to chase a guy for more than half a sector----he's not disengaging, he's running.

And as far as being damaged and running?

I'm sure that has happened to everyone at least a couple times.

But when almost every single 51 I come across "disengages" for at least a half a sector before disappearing into the horizon, it would seem that the 51s damage model must off a teensy bit.

I can't be the only one who has noticed this.
