What a great idea - the guy is making bucco money -

Ok.... but why is Cash Cab on The Discovery Channel? A game show on my beloved Discovery Channel!?!?

Yeah - I agree Discovery chan is a strange place for it - but I know they wont get rid of it because the revunue from ads is making them a lot of money.

Idiots watch Discovery channel too. Just because you don't think you're an idiot, doesn't mean that some marketing group isn't targeting you there, too.

That seems to be their trend...they have these non-scientific shows on that are huge draws.  Dirty Jobs, Dangerous Catch...etc...a while back we had American Chopper and such, which all got migrated to TLC (The Learning Channel ?).

More and more I'm getting drawn into the History Channel.  Its funny how they've scaled back the WW2 themes since they became known as the "Hitler Channel" since there was always some sort of Hitler piece on.  But again, how Ax Men and history go together...eh?

We seem to get sucked into "How Its Made" a lot lately.  There was one a few days ago on how hotdogs are made.  The kids saw unrecognizable pieces of meat ground into a brown foam, then shoved into tubes.  They haven't eaten one since  LOL

I heard somewhere that in order to survive an Alaskan winter, you need to chop wood for at least 5 months (i would assume thats hand chopping) non stop.
