Lay carpet in den, hall, and 3 bedrooms.......after mowing the back yard, trimming the hedges, and breaking up the flower bed.

exactly the reason i will never get married.

there are better reasons than that to not get married.

Once you are married for a while you will welcome the most dreary tasks so long as you don't have to have her around while you are doing them.  She will leave while you are laying carpet for instance.

My honey-do list has been canceled due to lack of interest.

My wife and I are going camping for a night, then will spend all day Sunday billing. Monday is American Legion stuff. If I have time I may do a little more raking. Or maybe I'll just lay on the couch.

We'll be thinking of you and the family, Mensa :salute

Grill burgers and make Illinois Style Grilled Corn.

Incomplete EKG & recent blood tests say no mowing the lawn yet.

I don't have a yard so no need to mow the lawn. My list is just one ite long. Clean out he water valve in the toilet. It just started leaking yesterday. All that does is slow trickle water to the bowl so no big deal, I just want to fix it.

After that, kick back, take it easy then I'll taper down from there. Retirement on the road, it's a tough job but somebody's got to do it.
