Quantity. The ones you see that actually effect a tank are usually hundreds  of pounds of explosives.

True, they do use an unbalanced amount of explosives unlike the U.S. army, but i still think the U.S. needs better explosives, such as, bigger amount of explosives. You got to admit, terrorists may use several pounds of explosives, but when it comes to killing they always know how to. = several pounds of explosives.  :)

There are American soldiers killing and being killed by enemy combatants. Whether or not it is technically a 'war' (it's actually technically defined as a limited conflict, correct?), it fits my personal definition.

With over 4,000 of America's finest citizens being dead and almost 30,000 wounded (going from Wiki's current statistics), I'd hardly call it an overblown media thing.

Well remember compared to other wars this amount of casualties is very low but much higher then say the gulf war. Is it just the media this time period likes to make a big deal about small things?
