Would that be considered a gear up landing?

As an aside.... if you were planning on using the canopy for brakes, why did you extend the landing gear?    ;)

Hmmm, don't think so. You should have had your canopy closed so you don't put scrape marks on your leather helmet.   :D

You don't appear to be upside down, and I know for a fact that you have to be upside down to even begin to land.

Bet you haven't actually landed kills like this.. I was afk rtbing due to fuel damage. I come back and I see tracers whizzing by and then my wing falls off. I go crazy on my .ef macro and someone how 1 inch off the sea I still manage to get a landed msg.
