All great points re: laptops, Tigger & BaldEagl! Having a mobile computer with that much juice will help me out a great deal at work and at the University. With all my "real life" apps on a solid laptop, I will be able to finally -- one and for all -- have a rig specifically for gaming later this year. And, yes Wooley...I'll enjoy those bleeding knuckles when I get 'em.
I really appreciate it, guys. I came here simply because I knew I'd get some common sense input from the group here, and I got it. When I'm ready for that gaming rig (can't wait!) later this year, I'll post again for your input on that.
