I don't understand the point either. This seems in poor taste.

while the loss of life is indeed tragic that appeared to be a preventable accident.  I hope the people who lost their lives weren't on the lake in a boat

Helicopters are not designed to do aerobatics, I find alot of things funny to do with the people I work with in the military... a better title would be 'Darwin Award candidate'.

Raw video,June 01/08:An NH90 helicopter, serialled MM81519 EI-202 of the 1 Gr Sq of the Italian Army based in Viterbo crashed on June 1, in the Bracciano Lake at 16.15L causing the death of Cap. Filippo Fornassi. The other 2 POB (People On Board) were rescued and survived the injuries. The aircraft was at the end of its display in the Ali sul Lago airshow in front of the Italian Air Force Museum, at Vigna di Valle airport.

They all look a lot like the AH64 Apache.

Errr try again. There are quite a few helo's that are capable of aerobatic flight.  Any helo with a rigid rotor system such as the BO 105 can loop roll etc.  There was an IMAX film that started off with a CH-53 doing a barrel roll over the washington monument.  Here is a link of an AH-64 doing a loop, even though the 64 has a fully articulated rotor system ( everything is fine as long as you keep positive g loading on the rotor system) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=us18o7qOXjI&feature=related.  Used to pull "return to target" manuevers in the AH-1G by rolling inverted and then pulling the nose through 180 degrees to reverse course (o needed at least 2500 - 3000 agl to do it tho)

Helicopters are not designed to do aerobatics It may be capable but wasn't built for that sole purpose.

Reading comprehension is understanding a text that is read, or the process of "constructing meaning" from a text. Comprehension is a "construction process" because it involves all of the elements of the reading process working together as a text is read to create a representation of the text in the reader's mind
