Another rant about maps

I know no one asked for my opinion but here it is:

1.  All small maps in one arena and all big maps in the other (LWA's).
2.  No caps (or permanent caps at ~450 in each arena).
3.  Rotate ALL the small maps (including Mindi) in the small map arena.
4.  Rotate ALL the big maps (bring back Trinity, Donut, Pizza and the rest of the "lost" maps) in the other arena.
5.  Bring back weekly re-sets if there hasn't been a player re-set.

Now is that so hard?

Surprising that a mental case like yourself can spell Einstein, given that, Prof. Einstein was a a Nobel Laureate in PHYSICS... Perhaps Dr. Freud, Dr. Jung or a qualified mental heath professional could address your obvious personality disorders, but I fear that this wish is far from probable.

3. DESTROY/DELETE/OVERWRITE the Baltic, NDIsles and Uterus maps

IMHO the best maps we have.  Short flights..good furballs.  but of course we furballers have no opinions because the war has to be won

MajIssue admitted that he was starting another (another) thread about a repetitiously (again) posted subject and that has resulted in the past with no change (still).

Then what's the bloody point?  There is probably a reason that nothing has happened and I seriously doubt another post on the subject is going to affect any change.

Bottomline if you went and looked at the maps in other sims you would realize just how bad these are. Don't get me wrong THIS is the best Sim of the three I've flown by a longshot----but the maps are second rate. I don't want to make one---can I copy one from another game??

My point is that if you care so much about the maps, you are doing something wrong. The game isn't about the maps, its about combat. Just a thought, do you think that the time you want spent on maps could, in some part, be one reason why this game is better than its competitors?

Start being proactive. All of the tools are available. There are plenty of folks that have created maps and they are willing to assist anyone in the creation of a new map. Oh...BTW, I speak from experience. I've made a map....what have you done besides complain?

I've said it before and I'll say it again (since that seems to be a secondary theme in this thread anyway):

All any map really needs is three bases (that can't be captured) in a triangle.  The rest is gravy.

Try playing from a CV on mid mesa.
Try flying high alt buffs on beta.
Try finding a good GV battle on NDIsles outside of tank town or on Compello (most of the time).

There are other examples.  Not that there's anything wrong with any of those maps, but if they are in both arenas at once entire aspects of the game are gone.

...and where does it say that all aspects for the game will be available at all times? Every map I've seen (and I've seen them all) has aspects which in some way impact game play in negative ways. Because the game play in the MA's is open ended, there is no PERFECT map.
