And as another point of order, it's not like Dubya's speeches have been all that full of substance, either.
Black, white, Republican or Democrat, he's a POLITICIAN. Regardless of party affilation they're ALL cut from the exact same mold: each and every one of them will say whatever sounds good to get them elected. There's not a shred of integrity to any of them.

i agree with ya fully with them saying whatever they have to say. it's that when i hear his speeches, i hear the same thing repeated over and over for an hour(if i can take it that long). i agreee about dubya too. his speeches are pretty much useless.
 i know about politicians saying what they tink the people want to hear. that was expressed in the  ""he tells black people he's black, and white people he's 1/2 white""  they all do it. the general population has almost become nothing more than sheep. they believe anything/everything they see or hear on tv. if dubya said binladen was in iran right now, i'd bet there'd be a scary number of people thatd believe him.

ayway, i was only expressing my views. IF i vote this year, i'll not vote for the muslim or hillary...........

A lot of the comments remind me of the Bush/Kerry runup, the democrats and liberals on these boards were absolutely convinced Bush was done and Kerry would easily beat him.

Shows how much the typical board participant knows or can predict.  But, I had it right then, and I am pretty sure I have it right now.

The best way to see what they are about is to see what they have done.  To listen to interviews where hard questions are asked.   McCain willingly gave an interview to the "Rifleman" (NRA) and clearly spelled out how he felt.

Actually I was very impressed with McCain's interview with the NRA - they asked him very exacting questions, and he answered completely straightforwardly.  There were no long winded BS answers, no rhetoric, and no dancing around issues.

It was so refreshing to see a politician be up front like that - what an absolute contrast to Obama (who is the biggest bullpoopting shuck'n'jive windbag huckster I've ever seen step behind a lectern). 

If the two ever debate, I really think McCain will skewer him.

Of course, that may not be enough to reach the American Idol Generation who see him as the Second Coming of The Jesus.

Even the democrats know that.. osama doesn't think well on his feet and he has a very limited grasp of the world and policy in general and very little experience.   he will get stomped.. he is already trying to think of ways to get out of the town hall debates that McCain suckered him into.
