C.202... I've landed a 14 kill sortie in the AvA not too long ago in it.

C205...Has good speed and a decent load out. Burns alot of gas though.....

throttle back some and cut yer RPMs down. the thing will fly for a pretty good while for a good enough distance.
it'll seem slow but it'll get to speed, if you give it time to after leveling out.

that is, if the flight model hasn't changed since I last flew it.

been awhile since I was in one. the last time I was in one, I caught up with an ultralite hog low and slow.
it was Shawk (of all wonders, not in a D9), when he has no choice, he can fight, believe it or not. yeah he did win that one. <S>

Never flown the fm2

C2variants - flown, nice birds

Will leave this up for a bit longer, and will then tell ya's what you are going to be killing me in when I get the time to fly.

Dieaz, Mac - not ignoring you at all - cant fly the jeep (it turns rubbish at 5 - 10K  - plus if I cant find a nice steep hill to take off from, it dont stay there long....).

Not flying the goon for my limited time in flight - I can never shoot anyone down with it.......... (not like I have a lot of success in fighters either mind..lol...)

limited flight time? bored with spits and Las. you ruled out the best for limited flight time.

then TA152 or 109K4 might be your answer.
in the right hands they can be, but generally they are not turn and burners like the spits and Las are.

the TA152 is very risky for TnB, it can be done. but..... you might want to get used to dying quite a bit more often til you really get the feel and hang of it.

Yup, limited flight time - got made redundant, but then got taken on in my original job again, but no shift work - when that comes into effect, I'll (maybe) have more time - but at the moment, no sirree, no time to fly at all yet...and the new tour is already almost 5 days old...unheard of for me.....lol...

Diablo, might just have to look at the p40 - must say, every time I come across one in the MA, its either a very easy kill - or I'm suddenly dead and back in the tower.
