Good point D, and given I want a fight this morning (seriously busy night shift) - I'll be flying p38's for this month. If anyone see's me in anything but (unless at a capped base - in which case I'll be the hurri IId), please give me grief on 200 until I get back into the 38 - I thank you very much...

You don't get a lot of ammo, but it's 25 ENY, gets along quite well and handles pretty smartly too.
You don't need much ammo when 1 ping can take the entire tail section off, 2 pings for buffs.

Take the c.202 with just 2 guns.
Seriously, it's a nifty little plane, and the other 2 guns make little difference. And you literally shovel the perks

Wurzel -  38 is a fun plane.  its the bomber that can fly like a fighter  lol.   MAybe, I'll leave the f6 parked and up the ol 38 too next time I see ya on.

It'll take some practice and you'll feel like you accomplished something by the end of the tour.

I think you should be "other directed" this month and focus on assists. So, I commend the P-40B and the C-202.

That'll be next tour Furball - think I'm just going to pick one plane (or series of planes etc - ie, 38 has g/j/l so I can fly them in either LW or MW) and stick with it, good or bad for 1 whole tour - instead of just picking a plane each flight kinda deal.

As you will be flying rook this tour, please make sure  whatever ride you choose can actually make it to 55,000 ft.

i don't know how long you have been playing, but when i decided to fly a diff. plane each month i started with the early stuff and have been working my way thru too the newer planes! my fav is the fm-2 for a good starting point, but the p-40 would be a good choice as well! i also went too the early and mid war years to do this so as to be in the same class of birds with what i was flying, just a thought!

Next tour will be the FM2 (tho I will need serious pointers on this bird - never even flown one lol)

Tour after that will be the Yak series, then I'll take whatever comes into my head for the one after that.

My goal in this endeavour, is to improve in all aspects of my flying - which basically means, if ya see me flying about, your assured of an easy kill
