Any kind of mixer ruins the taste of good whiskey, tho it and Scotch can survive a little water.

At worst I'd pour some over ice. The really good single malts I'd drink neat.

Scotch and ginger ale is quite popular in Scotland - blended scotch that is.

When it comes to single-malts, the water/ice/straight debate seems destined never to be resolved.

I don't normally drink hard liquor, but when I do it's Maker's Mark and Coke.  Why?  Because I'm the second most interesting non-metrosexual man in the world.

Stay thirsty my friends.

I've heard from a friend who worked in Jamaica some time back that they have quite an affinity for the Johnnie Walker and ginger ale as well.   Same tastes so far apart, small world.  :)

Hi my name is Reschke and I am a metrosexual who likes pedicures, back waxing and Bombay Sapphire and Tonic with 4 cubes of ice per glass...I also like good strong home made marguiritas with something other than the old stand by tequila and I like to drink Crown and 7 on occasion as well.

Reschke do you like Pina Coladas
And getting caught in the rain...

 :rofl

You know it big boy!

In fact that is one of my favorite songs of all time.

Lyrics for you guys here to sing with your lady tonight....or well with your partner if you must     :rofl

I was tired of my lady
We'd been togehter too long
Like a worn-out recording
Of a favorite song.
So while she lay there sleeping
I read the paper in bed
And in the personal columns
There was this letter I read:

"If you like Pina Coladas
And getting caught in the rain,
If you're not into yoga
If you have half a brain,
If you'd like making love at midnight
In the dunes of the Cape,
Then I'm the love you've looked for:
Write to me and escape."

I didn't think about my lady
I know I sound kind of mean
But me and my old lady
Have fallen into the same old dull routine.
So I wrote to the paper
Took out a personal ad
And though I'm nobody's poet
I thought it wasn't half-bad:

"Yes I like Pina Coladas
And getting caught in the rain,
I'm not much into health food,
I am into champagne.
I've got to meet you by tomorrow noon
And cut through all this red-tape
At a bar called O'Malley's
Where we'll plan out escape."

So I waited with high hopes
And she walked into the place
I knew her smile in an instant
I knew the curve of her face
It was my own lovely lady
And she said, "Oh, it's you"
Then we laughed for a moment
And I said, "I never knew."

That you like Pina Coladas
Getting caught in the rain
And the feel of the ocean
And the taste of champagne
If you'd like making love at midnight
In the dunes of the Cape
You're the lady I've looked for
Come with me and escape.

Both of you guys should be expecting a letter from my lawyer stating you're both being sued for mental cruelty.

Now I'm going to have this boinking song in my head all night...

Hey I bet your attorney is a metrosexual as well.

BTW how did your wife like the first night of Swingtown! My wife thought it was squealing weird but I think she is hooked into watching it now. I honestly can't wait for Burn Notice to come back on USA again here in a few weeks.

I don't know.  I'm here at work and have no idea if she watched it or not.  Let me go find out...

The British influence in the Caribbean runs deep. Most Caribbean islands still have a large British expat community.
