Do you have an agent? Are you physically shipping the cases to CD baby yourself? Who did the album cover? Did you record in a professional studio or in a home studio?
No, yes, me, professional.

Seriously, I do not have an agent, though I've been in discussions with a music promoter. The CDs were replicated by a company who sent the first pressing to me. I then ship them to CD baby as demand requires. They ask that you only send as many CDs as you sold in the last three months, so they don't have to warehouse too much inventory. Remember that CD Baby is an outlet for indie artists, who don't move the volume of the major label artists. I did all the CD artwork myself, and you can see it all at my myspace site, in the "Home, God, and Country" photo album under my "pics". The cover art was almost as much fun as recording...and not as much work

. All the recording was done in professional studios, using professional musicians. As an example, Joe Diffy's lead guitarist plays on sever of the tracks. Interestingly, the vocals were all recorded here in Colorado, and the background tracks in Smyrna, TN, just outside Nashville. Internet's a wonderful thing!
