I promise you 100% of the time anything ever says "Send this across the globe" or "across the nation" or "to everybody in your e-mail list" it's fake, misleading, falsified in some way, or just out-and-out spam.

Ah yes!  The famous Marine chain letter!  :lol  This was passed around several times over the years but the year is always changed as well as the name..  This time it's Aaron.  Believe me, having served my country, I can understand the patriotic feelings that are brought to the surface by a chain letter like this..  But, in reality, it is what it is..  A chain letter.

Just curious, how many of you guys giving the salutes have actually served (and how many in a war zone)?
I like classy, beautiful, intelligent woman that say the "F" word a lot....

USMC, and there was no war when i was in.

And you do not have to be a vet to salute the brave.

ex-USAF, it was my honor to serve with several great outfits.

Udorn ..the 432nd, affectionately known as 'The Mig Killers' ..Fall of Saigon and other frolics.
Seymour-Johnson .. little outfit known as the 4th Tac Fighter Group, smoked the Aggressors on first ops, Red Flag '81.
Taegu ..the 51st .. we were FEBA in our hangars.. shortest ORI's I have ever been a part of.

Among others.

-Frank aka GE .. and you, Anodizer?

I served as well.  All 4 years that was in active duty were in the trenches of what was known back then as the "cold war".  Didn't have to fire a shot to be in that one.

I often wonder that one as well. I'm guessing 40% served, the rest are keyboard/CH Products veterans.
War! Never been so much fun. War! Never been so much fun! Go to your brother, Kill him with your gun, Leave him lying in his uniform, Dying in the sun.

Damn right>> As non-veterans, we are NOT allowed to salute/appreciate our men/women in uniform
