Impossible.  You couldn't put a gun through either the Merlin or Allison.  The Daimler Benz 600 series and French Hispano-Suiza 12Y series (the VK series in the Yakolevs is based on the Hispano-Suiza) were both designed from the ground up to do so.

Just a small list of the things I'd like to see.

  • All the R packages (Depending on the model) for all the German planes
  • The early A-20G with the 4 20mm's in the nose
  • The fixed forward firing Mg FF on the Ju88
  • The Mosquito with the 4,000lbs "cookie" bomb doors
  • The early rockets on the A-20's and B-25's
  • Did I mention the early A-20G with the 4 20mm's in the nose?

I'd like to see battle damage left in place for a while during a fight, where a gv has been killed a burning hulk, a downed bomber, airplane parts scatterd on runways, bits of buildings and such lying about the feild, would be great for filming.
ESTES- will you have my baby?

Thats "hundred mph tape", Thats what we called it in the Army, I never did hear why it was called that tho, I heard some pretty strange reasons, don't think any of them were right.

Does anyone know?

Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

Yossarian, grab your paper bag and check this out!

They were replaced (by 6 50's) after the block 1 aircraft due to low rate of fire and poor accuracy. This is from 'McDonnell Douglas Aircraft since 1920: Volume 1' by Rene J Francillon on page 280.
