I've kind of wondered if O'bama will try to get a latino/mexican american V.P. running mate? Other than a female V.P. that would be the only other power race/gender i think that he could pick. Just a thought to ponder.

If Obama were white I'd say it would work. but being he isn't. His VP is going to HAVE to be a white or he is going to start alienating the white vote.

the one thing he has going against him is his race.
There are still enough people out there that wont vote for him due to his race already.

Anyone other then a white VP is going to draw a negative reaction from the racial fence sitters.
That is those who may not be entirely crazy about having a black pres. But are so disgusted with the status quo they are willing to give him a shot.

This is one of Obamas greatest assests.

Mccain doesnt represent anything new.
Obama at least looks different

What Obama would really like to have for a VP candidate is a Protestant, pro-life, pro-gun, middle-class, pro-military, anti-war, lesbian-transvestite, environmentalist oil-baron.

Failing that....he'll take Rosie O'Donnell....cause she meets most of those requirements.
