I mean what happened yesterday evening (GMT+1) at A11.

Two Rook CV groups in front of A11, not very close but enuff to ack-ack everything feet wet. Hordes of Rooks inb A11 and hordes of Knights taking off to fight mainly vulchers and rare Jabos. I often got nailed by CVs ack-ack from 15K to ground, while diving and spiralling at 400mph+. Eventually I took off with a Niki and 25% fuel. Gawd, now I understand why its the plane and not the pilot

I HOed everyone on my path, I looped and looped and looped and smoked guys that never knew I was there hanging on my prop with my 800 20mm rounds.

I miss our 1.04 big terrain (not the beta one, plagued by respawning Osties). And I hope HTC will bring a new terrain with less water, reduce the number of CV groups, reduce further CV's ack lethality and somehow take back that balance between gigantic low level furballs and good playing that we had in 1.04.

I know, we are in continuous development. CV's, PT-boats, F6F, Seafires are nice but I and my whole squadron somehow feel like we took a step back from 1.04. Just food for thoughts. No flame war.

solution : 3 heavy jabo on the CV and "pouf" no more annoyances

Gato, I think todays patch will help! It forces CV's to stay farther away from shores ie. no more CV ack covering a enemy field. Also ack routine will be changed.

I agree at 100% with Gatt,
In Ah I was finding a real HYSTORICAL war simulation.

When an Europe only Terr Arena at 100%, with europeans ONLY planes?

I agree. This map is getting a little long in the tooth. I imagine they are working on more maps. I think they have been busy patching. They will debut a new map soon I think. I hope. Please.

Wrong Rip. I landed multiple kills sorties that day. Probably more kills than during my long sweeps or field defence.

And read the topic. I wanted only to know if this is what people want from AH. If those gigantic furballs are your own terms, then enjoy. I'm happy for you.

Gatt, what I am implying is there are days where I am defending an airfield from the hordes from a ship, and there are days that I am the agressor coming from that ship...it all balances out.

nikis are my favorite plane to save a vulched field with, provided u can get off the ground and that the attackers arent super-aces, the field will be fine that niki is soo funny i had an 11 kill sortie at one of our vulched, me against bout 5 hellcats and a few chogs and tbm its just too damn funny
