Ohh, I see what your saying...Another thing you can try in the 38 is if your comming from high altitudes is skidding it with rudder, I use that alot in the P-38 while dive bombing.
Yeah I use it as well, and it is helpful. The problem is with the P-38 is you can find yourself in trouble AFTER youve passed the point of being able to do anything about it. You can come in trimmed, not getting compression shudders, and still be going fast enough to dead stick without being able to pull out. This is actually even worse the shuddering cause with the vibrations they at least give you warning.
And Im not even calling the 38 a bad bombing platform. Its actually quite a good one. But you do have to handle it different then the other Yank platforms.
Actually these little differences they've written into the program, between airplanes, are variations that help make the game so cool. And the perked Corsair is just awesome in a high speed dive. All of them are actually.
