Absolutely agree on the Meteor. It did see service, it was doing doodlebug-chasing, and the only reason it didn't down any LW aircraft was that the LW was hard to find in those days  :D
Saying that, I'd vote for the V-1. Well, I've started threads about that before....
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

P-80 was in service before the end of WW2 just didnt see any action
