I feel so guilty

Not!

Last night I'm up in a C.205 headed toward a port that had just been taken from us.  On the way I get B'n'Zd by a 262.  No biggie and he flys away.  A few minutes later I engage a P-51D.  He's got E on me and keeps engaging, run... extending, and re-engaging, always with enough E to extend away.  I'm also watching the whole time for the 262 to come back.

Then I see a Zeke coming.  I try to climb, WEP on but the Pony's got enough E to match my climb and keep me engaged.  I finally get the Pony to commit to a turn or two low, then sensing my opportunity I begin to climb WEP on again.  As I do I see a F4U fly by under me and reverse but this time I had enough E and am out of guns range with all 3 on my tail.

Eventually, first the F4U, then the Pony break off, but the Zeke keeps following me as I ru... rtb, 4K back.  As I approach my base we're now at 20K and that pesky Zeke is still 4K back so I reverse on him.  He comes straight at me and I HO him... poof.  Then I land my one kill.

I sort of felt sorry for the guy.  All that effort.  I can just imagine what he was thinking... "Ha!, I'll vulch him when he lands.  I'll kill him if he turn fights.  I will RULE!"

Had my best laugh last night after fighting a Seafire.  He'd bounced me first and was shooting from too far out on the merge, but to his credit he went vertical as I did and the turn fight was on.  I was able to out turn him in the 38G and killed him.  I kept going and I see a Spit again about co alt.  We merge and it's a Seafire so I figure it's the same guy come back.  He tries to turn with me again and can't get the angle so he noses down to run.  I latch on and am slowly gaining as he's running towards his base.  I'm shooting and hitting him and I see pieces coming off.  We're just above the trees at this point and he all of a sudden breaks hard right.  hidden behind his icon was another Spit, this one a 16 coming head on to me.  one ping and boom!

I do believe the C Hogs lost that one didn't they? :)

Got some good film of 4 109s picking on a set of Lancs.  Had a bit of a history feel to it.  You sure were right about the 109 being EZmode Freez :)
