Turkey bacon should be outlawed, or have the word "bacon" removed from it.

The word is derived from the Old High German bacho, meaning "back".

Turkey originally referred to the guinea fowl from Madagascar. So what?

Turkey bacon is just turkey, not bacon.

Rip..Rip...Rip. <tsk>  There ain't no hope for ya son.  There just ain't no hope.  Ya need to leave them left-coast digs of your'n and visit the heartland for a while.  Kill a hog or two...scald it....gut it...butcher it....salt it...smoke it...fry the bacon for breakfast.

It'll put hair on your chest.  Your head will take stronger medicine.

Bye the bye...any of you city-foke ever eaten salt pork with the rind still on it what's been dredged in flour and fried in bacon fat?  Tastes great but it'll give ya a heart attack just lookin' at it.

DieAz...if ya like cornbread crumbled in buttermilk....then you would love what me and my granddad used to drink when he had a flare up with his ulcer....glass of sweet milk with two raw eggs and a heaping tablespoon of sugar stirred in.

Man!  That...with bacon, eggs, toast, and grits would really git yer day off to a good start!

They have finally figured out how to make it so that it is somewhat moist after frying.  I am now a turkey bacon lover.

Anyone else like it? Hate it?

Nothing can replace the real thing, but Turkey Bacon is a distant 2nd place, and I'm eating nothing but from now on (when I do eat bacon...)

Needs more pig.
