Major Issue! Terrain Corruption?

I have never had a problem with my AHII game until today. Tried logging onto the DA and my computer froze on take-off. I turn it off and back on, and get back into the DA. While loading the terrain I'm looking at the clipboard to see where the fight currently is. Then all hell breaks loose. I have terrain markings all over my clipboard (dirt road, runway, etc), and my mouse is the plane to mark your position on the map. I somehow click on the hangar and It's fine. I think it must have been a freak glitch then the plane skin I have selected appears up on the clipboard.

Anyways, to make a long story short, I closed AHII down, re-opened it, and got same problem again except with little black dots everywhere this time. Is this a terrain file corruption, or a problem with my video card? Or do I need to un-install and re-install my AHII game?

I only tried the DA so far, will see if I get the same problem in the other arenas.


EDIT: Well as soon as I clicked on AHII my screen went to a purple and white fuzz.

It seems to be fixed right now, but can anyone tell my how to fix this in case it happens again?

I've had this same problem in the MA.  Sometimes I can alt+tab to get out of AH and reenter with everything looking okay.  Most of the time, it happens and the game immediately freezes.  I recently (father's day) upgraded my video card to a GeForce 8600GT w/512mb of DDR2, but the game played excellent until today.

This might be a video card going sour, or a power supply problem.  These do goofy things if not enough power is getting to the video...
