Salmiak is another word for ammonium chloride.

Lossepladsen means "dumping ground", hence the rat. The company uses such names for it's product as a gimmick. Other candy have names like Sludge, Earwax, Seagull Droppings ect.

And to think...candy cigarettes are more controversial than that!
