I've been thinking about the Uber-plane for points program that will be comming to an arena near you in 1.04 and I think I have an idea to make it a bit fairer. Base the point's not on kills, but on hits. The number of hits a player scores with his guns, bombs, or troops would be the determing score modifer for your points. Using kills would be a nightmare. Think how you would feel when someone swoops in an hit's the last ping on the guy you've been working on for 5 minutes; Or the buff gunner that PKs your 190 after as he's spinning wingless but ride's it out for the kill but because you left flight first you get squat.
Another perk to this plan, is it would hurt the darn cannon hawg drivers who ping things 1 or 2 times and kill it

Of course there would have to be other ways to earn points, such as punching the clock (just being there, cause that's the only way I'll ever get any, I can't hit water from a boat!), making and accepting missions with the new editor, and other cool and self-less acts.
(I'll bet the HTC crew just love to see their dream disected, examined, rearranged, and stuffed back togather ever 5 or so messages

sorry)
