I couldn't listen to music while I played Aces High. I've spent time getting my own collection of the excellent soundpacks (kudos to the guys who spend so much time doing them) available set up to my liking, so anything that takes away from that and the added 'realism' they bring isn't a good thing.
If I was going to listen to anything though, it would have to be thrashy/rocky Black metal, Like Bathory, Darkthrone, Craft, Deathspell Omega (pre Kenose, as incredible as Kenose is, it's not the right music for the game) and maybe a bit of Behemoth and Marduk (Panzer Division Marduk is apt) thrown in for good measure.
Nothing that you'd take too seriously.
