As a big WWII history and movies fan, while in the game,I like to set the mood for it.
The music I play is from the pages of,victoryatseaonline.comThere they also have
a war-movies page where I've downloaded many of them into my windows media.
With these great war themes,I feel like I'm in my own movie. Do you play background music?
Whats your war-music?
I'm into a lot of the classical stuff.. Walkürenritt (Ride of the Valkyries) is always pretty good.. Plus I've got a buttload of WWII German moral
songs.. I do this in the MA when I go on missions with lots of other planes.. Yeah, kinda cheesy, but hey!!
Other than that, most of the stuff I listen to not many have heard of. I'm totally anti-corporate/mainstream music.. Bands like Breaking Benjamin or Godsmack and just about all the stuff in that category of "new" metal are pretty boring to me and I want to shoot myself in the face when I hear it palying.. If anyone's ever hear of Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Sleep, High On Fire, Acid King, Sixty Watt Shaman, Electric Frankenstein...Stuff like that.. It's like real low-end bottom heavy stoner rock.. Lots of riffing.. Kind of reminds you of old Sabbath a little..
Anyhow, yeah, nothing beats listen to the song Green Machine by Kyuss and buzzin' around in a Jug at 15k obliterating any unsuspecting poor soul with 8 50's at 400 yards or less..
I notice I fly better to music.. When I tune off of squad vox and listen to tunes, I just kind of go with the flow.. I should probably do it more often..
