I know that HT is trying their best to get the game finished and all, but I have an idea for the future. How about the acks on Fields being able to be controlled by a player? The would-be gunner would jump into an ack position from the Tower menu. It would operate basically the same as a B-17 gunner position. When not manually run, or when a player leaves the position, it would revert back to computer control. Just an idea!
