Yes the Hurri IIC would be your best bet but has a slow speed and can be easily run down. If you want Speed and Turn rate it would be the Zero. Now if you want the all in one package but has less in ever area and more in others it would be the Spitfire.,

FM2.  Among the best turners in the game, 4 x .50 cal lazers and they didn't call it the Grumman Ironworks for nothing.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

I doubt he'd find four .50 cals to meet his definition of "Firepower".

Saying the zero has "speed" is being overly generous.

You want turn capability, decent speed, one of the best climb rates in the game and 2 of the strongest 20mm cannons, fly a spit8 or spit16.

Agreed, however there is just something about this AC that makes big deflection shots easy. I've made d600 crossing shots with it that I can't quite get with an F6f, strange.  :noid

I,ve been havin alot of fun the KI-84 this tour.

Pretty good turner.

Pretty good in the firepower category.

Not to sure about the durable part though!!

Still a fun plane to fly.

N1k2, Spit XVI (grudgingly), Spit IX, are probably your safest bets.
