She knows it will be instant if I need go through it (divorce) a second time.  I made it very clear that it was very expensive last time.  I know a pig farmer, and that won't cost as much  :t

I had one blow the stopper and air lock, air lock lid is still stuck in the ceiling drywall.   :furious          Started using the blow-off tube and bucket after that.

It made one helluva mess.  The washer & dryer were covered, all the laundry, the shelf of canned goods, you name it.

Even with the tube/bucket it can get messy, especially if you re-use your yeast cake.

I made a second batch of hefeweizen, and used the yeast cake from the first.  I finished up right before bed.  I woke up to a yeasty mess.  The Weinstephan Weinstephaner yeast was wickedly agressive, I found out.  Even with the blow off tube.  :uhoh

Sorry Uptown, did Valleydolls have a thread here before it was hijacked?

Well, not really hijacked, it just that you can't plan a mission without working out the finer details of things, like who is bringing the beer, and sometimes that takes sharing ideas.

yes that is true, it's not a real hijack.  if the beer is no good, then all is lost.  just finished up an amber, I don't force carbonate sadly, so my batch won't be ready for the mission.  though I admit to drinking a few not-quite-carbonated ones, what can I say.   till then, drinking up my guinness clone (first all grain attempt).
