After you watch it, keep in a mind a few things... these people only actually work 3 months every 2 years.

On top of that, Texas isn't doing bad. Economy is growing, 40% of the jobs in the US last year were created here.
We're not seeing the mortgage "crisis" many other states are.
Our gas is cheaper than everybody else's.
The trans-texas corridor land grab was shot down.
Legal battles are being fought, and won by the people, over the recent property tax & mandatory insurance scams.

So if we can manage that, with this group in charge... how bad must other state's politicians be?

At one point the DFW area led the nation in foreclosures. Gas might be cheaper in Houston, but in North Texas it's running around the national average. Not trying to rain on your parade, but those numbers are wrong.

I agree the Lege is messed up, always has been. Austin is filled with hypocrites, bottom to top.

One of the things I'll do when I lead the revolution is mandate that anyone who holds or has ever held a government job, at ANY level, is expressly forbidden from working for the government ever again.

A good reason to do this would be to purge all the messed up people who have diddlyed up our government. 


However, the main reason would be to laugh hysterically as all those government employees flounder and squirm trying to work a real job that expects results.

what sort of treatment are you planning to give small business owners? Just asking because I need to know now which side of the revolution I should be on.
