I liked what they said in the movie "The Wedding Crashers" upon seeing a tatoo on a womens behind. "It might as well be a target"  :rofl :rofl

i tattood my own "ahhum" with a flaming skull, to ask the chicks " you ever been skull f........."

and no im not kidding.

Wow.  I am going to ask this because the opportunity has never before presented itself, nor do I believe it ever will again-and I am just curious.  At the same time, I'll try to ask it in a way that won't get the SkuzzStik swinging.

OK, so when you bring the Corsair up on deck and it's ready for takeoff, you then begin your 'work'.  In this case, I would think, vulching yourself on the flight deck.  So doesn't that put the old warbird back on the hangar deck?  Guess what I am asking is how you kept your plane flight-worthy through the process.  Did you have flight crew assisting?

first let me say this is a great "metaphor"

ill try to use the same

when i was ready to paint the "plane" I got it all ready for flight, well once i started to "paint" the "plane" it decided it did not like being "painted" so it when back into the hanger,( i mean way worse than jumping into the ocean on a December day), so i forced the "plane" out of the hanger, held on to that corsair, and finished the "Painting".

i think if someone else's "plane" enjoys being "painted" they need serious psychiatric help.

to say that it was uncomfortable, is quit the understatement.

but like any "painting" its about overcoming the pain.  oh and the "painting" took me an hour, felt like 20.

FOrgive me if im wrong, but i thought coral snakes were small in  general and dont get very large, so one around your waist would be way out of proportion.
Not really.  It wouldn't wrap around several times.  You could start on one side low waist, wriggle it across & finish it up by the ribs on the other side.  I think it would look nice, actually (on someone else, of course).  But that was the whole point of the python remark.  Once you add about 20 years, will look like a python.

Do either of you (or any other tattoo artists here) have any great photos of coral snake tattoos?
I googled it, but found only one mediocre photo.  If you do have any, I'd love to see it please. Thank you!

I'm getting a tatoo on my knuckles that either says my initials or "Self Made" And after that, a giant American Flag across my back. :)

Generally there's a 6 month unwritten rule about tats, Angels.  Think about it, and if you still want it in 6 months, go for it.  I'd call myself patriotic but I wouldn't get a 'giant' anything, anywhere.  But that's just me.  I'm a sailor and I won't think about getting inked or pierced so...

Better man than I, sir!  :aok  But thanks for the answer, I had some idea of a bevy of maidens in your 'support staff' helping you.  :D

Don't- you've said precious few lucid things on these forums. This is not one.

Finally, love how TxMom just blew past the whole metaphor thing we had going and answered up to the original thread like it never happened.  Classic.   <S> TxMoM

Texmom, try this website. As far as an online source for photos of tattoos this one is pretty hard to beat.

BMEInk - http://www.bmezine.com/tattoo/bme-tatt.html

This link will take you directly to the tattoo part of the website where there is typically nothing more offensive than some bad tattoos. Be warned, whilst my link only contains tattoos, the site also contains piercing and other body modification which some might find graphic. If you're weak of stomach stick to the link.

I don't think this is stepping over the line but if the moderators disagree, I apologise.

if there was ever a guarantee that the small coral snake wouldn't turn into a mammoth-sized python after 20 years, I'd consider that one!

Doing some serious tongue biting on this one LMAO

You can thank me 20 years from now  :lol

First I was going to say that your were either nuts., a masochist. or both...probably both

But after reading your followup I see your just a complete maniac.

As for people who might enjoy that.

They as most massochists are into it for the endorphine rush (endorphine junkies I call them) And just like any junkie. some need more then others LOL

Dont ask me how I know that. the subject wouldnt be nor should it be of a material that should be allowed here.

but lets just say Im not a massochist.
I just understand them LOL
