Ink & Kjetil: regarding tattoos:
« on: June 27, 2008, 10:53:54 AM »
Do either of you (or any other tattoo artists here) have any great photos of coral snake tattoos?
I googled it, but found only one mediocre photo.  If you do have any, I'd love to see it please. Thank you!

no sad to say i dont, i pretty much only do one of a kind tats, so if you were a client i would draw you one.

so thats what i would suggest to you, find a true artist, that tats, that way you can have your own tat and not one that oh so many people have, it is so much more satisfying to know NO one has your tat,  look for that artist and put down some kind of deposit have them create your own.

trust me when i say this, its not very cool walking down the beach(or where ever you may be walking) and looking over and seeing some one else with your tat on them!!

i wish you the best in finding your ink.

on a side note the corral snake is a beautiful creature and would make a great tattoo.

That's far too generous! I actually would like the photo for something other than my own tattoo.  So I can't ask you to take the time to draw it for me. I was just hoping to find a photo ready to display.

But after having seen the difficult time in finding a photo of that particular tattoo... if I ever get one, it will be that! I completely agree that it would make a beautiful tattoo.  Wrapped around your waist would be nice... if there was ever a guarantee that the small coral snake wouldn't turn into a mammoth-sized python after 20 years, I'd consider that one!

My favorite tat story came from (of all places) the lecture hall. A guy who had been the city coroner for many years was talking about an autopsy they had done on a guy who had apparently lived a pretty rough life. What puzzled the coroner was a tattoo the guy had on his...ummmm....wee wee. For some reason or another, this guy got someone to put a tattoo green question mark on the shaft from bottom to top.

It wasn't until a couple days later that it hit him -- under....ummm... certain situations, physiologic changes would stretch that question mark into an exclamation point!

Brothers friend has small arms so he has the "Red Rider" BB Gun logo on the inside of his right arm, pretty funny but looks great.

FOrgive me if im wrong, but i thought coral snakes were small in  general and dont get very large, so one around your waist would be way out of proportion.

INk i gota ask justhow many "tazmainian Devil" tat's have you done?

If i was an ink slinger my number 1 rule would be.

thats funny you ask that, when i get people who ask for taz, my response is, "well i would rather cover a Taz."
i have turned away an uncountable amount of cash because of stupid tats like that.
