Why does stuff like this only come out when I'm too old (well, at least as far as actual age goes) to play with it?

Definately never too old for toys.  30 years old and I still buy Legos from time to time.  That looks pretty sweet.  Wish the wifey would let me get something like that.   :D

I made mistake one time of going to a toy's r' us with my daughter and girlfriend, she was looking at getting a new bike - I got lost
in the lego section trying to find star wars stuff.

Lets just say I was hoping to spend less then 200 ended up buying few things for myself :D

You guys should try a Nerf Vortex football from a 2" air/co2 cannon. They go really far, hit around 230fps, and screeaaam the entire time.

Saxman --

You've discovered the secret reason that guys decide to have kids.

 It isn't some nesting instinct -- we have kids so we can play with their toys! When my son was in the Nerf gun age, we had running battles all over the house, with teams of 3 either attacking or defending the basement. Ambushes, sniping, sweeps, the whole deal!

With my daughter, I got to see a lot of pretty good movies that a self respecting adult male couldn't have seen without embarrassment.
