indestructible tigers

I was in a tiger, a lanc dropped a 1000lber on me.  the bombe ricochetted off of the turret and exploded on the ground with no damage.  I was sitting in the epicenter of his blast.  I was in a panzer scoring at least fifty direct hits on a tiger at d400 with no damage to the tiger.  I sure do love beta testing it's fun.

i had a lanc carpet bomb me the other day while i was in a tiger and it only took out my pintel gun  :huh

otoh, I've had my tiger explode from a single 3.5 rocket fired by a typh..   :noid

Was in a tiger yesterday and got bombed by a Nik...instant kill, he only dropped 1 bomb. It landed well in front of me too. I was in the drivers position as well.

I lose Tigers all the time to bombs. It's like they are dropping JDAMs or something. And they never bounce off of my turret. :cry

I think it's made out of tissue. :D

ive seen one stranded on a base after we took it get carpet bombed by a B17 from 1000 feet...

it tracked it but it could still fire.

You seem surprised that *gasp* a bomb could kill a Tiger tank.  I killed 2 of them yesterday with by dropping a 500 pounder on each.  Come to think of it, the Tiger driver was surprised too by the tone of his whines on open channel.

i find the tiger to be very damage resistant
i had a typhoon drop a 1k bomb 10 feet in front of me and nothing
i love it!

You must be very lucky or it just depends on the time of the day.  I've had those little cherry bombs from a zero kill my tiger many times.

I had a School bus dropped on my tiger once...... And i died  :cry

you guys gotta consider latency, bombs might not hit where it seems etc. but i think the Sherman is tougher than the Tiger, at least to the thing i kill tanks with, 40mm bullets.

ive had a f6f do that to mine....im use to it now...i expect something crazy to happen every time i up on a sortie now.

it used to be you had to drop a 1000 right next to a tiger to kill it but now i get them with 1000 at about 15 feet away
