The greatest time in Baseball was during the strike.   Didn't have to hear any baseball crap on TV.  Baseball is a boring game played by overpayed spoiled players.

I love to play softball, but can't stand watching baseball on TV, and have zero interest in any pro sport with 160+ games a year.  No single game in the regular season means anything.

IMO it was Buckner's famous error that cost the Red Sox the championship during the '86 World Series

Gimme either Mazeroski with the leadoff home run in the 9th, back in the 1960 WS.

or

Don Larsen's perfect game in Game 5 of the 1956 WS.

you sure it wasn't winning the next game that cost them the series?

Baseball died in the mid-80's IIRC.

Nope that was just the time in ICU before the heart stopped beating a few years later. Baseball died on August 12, 1994 and to me it will never return as it was before that date.
