Ever drive one? If not, here's a piece of advice: they are absolute crap.

My bona fide here is that I used to work on them quite a bit (I was the only shop in these parts that would touch 'em).

If you do decide to proceed anyway, look up the Delorean owners club, they offer excellent support to other dumb bastards such as themselves ;)

Yea i have driven it once, I know it's not great but, that doesn't make a car bad.  Hummers suck gas way too quickly yet people drive them.  Sports car wreck due to loss of control at high speeds alot, yet people drive them.  It's not all about performance.  Also i said "fix it up" :aok
