I've donated 3 Track IRs and have been involved in a few others going to the National MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society, these items allow people with MS to surf the net and experience more of life.
I often ask everyone on the forums and in AH, if you have any old Track IRs (even the crappy series 1s- it works well for surfing) to call your local chapter of the MS Society and give it to them.
One man in particular that benefited was a 38 year old who had full movement of his head and neck and a single finger. So the donated Track IR was given to him and a travel mouse was gutted (so just the buttons worked) and attached to his finger with a strap.
