Leave the Mid War alone ... and I do believe that all the planes that are available in the EW arena are in the MW arena. There are plenty of good/great fights in the MW arena already.

If those who do inhabit the EW arena, are having fun doing what they are doing ... then what would be the point of ripping the rug out from underneath them ?

Hehe, no server space is being wasted. It is a shame that those folks don't realize the hazards of virtual self abuse...hairy palms...goin' blind...etc..  :D

I noticed similar a while back. ONE person in EWA, that's it. Apparently the idea proves to fail due to many choosing the latest, easiest rides/arenas, and not interested in diversity or challenge.

You want a challenge go ahead and up a 202 in late war  :aok

Done it, and it's a hoot even though I invariably get my butt kicked. What keeps me going is the (remote) possibility of landing a couple kills in some P.O.S. ride.

I would probably spend some time in EW or mid war if there were more people in them (im sure alot of people feel the same way)

be nice to have something to shoot at besides 51s, LAs, N1Ks, and Bruce Spixteen

The C.202 is great, the only thing holding it back is it's armament.

leave the midwar arena alone.  who cares what the players in the early war do?  I know that if you go in EW arena and attempt to fight them they stay in the tower and wait you out, once you leave they win the war all alone.  I think those players are probably good candidates for the current AvA which is all about winning the war while avoiding the fight at all costs.

I don't think that's the problem.. Sure there are many that can't fly anything but late war rides, but there are many that fly other stuff in the MA's. Hell I flew almost a whole tour in the Huri 1 a few tours back, I also fly P40's pretty often. The problem with EW, MW and AvA is just the lack of players.

If there isn't many people in there, no new people will join, it's like a self feeding problem. I flew in MW yesterday and tried some today, but there simply aren't many fights to be had. Sure you don't need 400 people in the arena but IMO it's tough to find quick fights with 30 to 50 people in there if you are lucky. The other thing is, even in MW half the cons I see in there are Huri 2's, A6m2's and Spit 9's. Those are all just as easy and dweeby as any of the LW rides, so claiming it's because of LW aircraft not being there isn't correct.

One thing I am curious to see is the result in participation in the EW/MW arenas once more early/mid-war aircraft get introduced to fill the gaps in the planeset.
