OK this is very irritating

I am flying 1.6K away from a buff and 1 ping hits me as I am grabbing above the buff, 1 ping and I lose stabilizer and fall to my death.  That is absurd I don't mind being hit but 1 hit?  I asked the killer how many he saw and his response was 1 and I cannot believe I hit you out there.  I used to support the buff guns, now it is becoming a nuisance and detracting from the game.

Yes they are sometimes easy to kill, but that deathstar 17 has got a ton of ammo.  Either fix the lethality or fix the range of the guns.

Im sort of wondering why we have the increased range on the bombers.The idea was to help stop bomber pilots from being discouraged to fly the bombers alone right?
Well i have flown the ju88 for many a sortie and the guns on them are next to useless if the attacker isnt greedy or stupid.This hasnt stopped me picking the ju88.I like the fact that you can kill hangers and acks with 1 loadout (lancasters 1x4000 18x500 is also fantastic loadout).
I just think there really is no need for the increased range.I would have said that we should reduce range of guns but increase durability but after hitting a B17 yesterday with 5 solid hits on the left outerwing/inner engine/wingroot/ and fuselage and seeing no damage apart from some smoke has changed my mind.
They are tough enough.the guns are too deadly in the hands of long term players.

I agree AG it may be time to make the guns exactly equal to the fighters.Just an opinion though certainly not a demand.I can live with them as they are quite happily, i just think there really is no need for the extra range.

I wanna know where they are getting these "killer" buffs!  Every time I'm in one I see a con and my wings fall off just at the sight of them    (Of course I fly the ju88 a lot and I have never downed anything with the guns/spitball launchers)  There have been many times that I have seen a fighter ride right up my 6 as I get 10-20 pings on him, and he still takes of a wing.  Sometimes we trade wing for wing, but being heavier, my buff falls faster and I have to bail first giving the fighter the kill.
