well i'm gonna leave my house about 9-10am its 4 hour drive down there, friday night is a free night for me and i dont have to set up for work till like 10:30am saturday so this sounds like loads of fun gotya!

I live 10 minutes from the Chicago/Gary Airport. The night show they put on before the Chicago Air & Water Show in August every year rawks  with explosions and planes like the MIG17 flying in the dark with fireworks shooting out the back WOOT!! This should be just as good ...  Too bad you can't make it ... every big city has it's bad spots but, the area where the airport is ... is all industrial. Not too much riff raff. Well, except for Friday night ... Betty will be there so I guess occasionally we even let the riff raff in

Its located in Loves Park, IL.  Id like to get sick to be able to go to the show, but I really need the $$$ to pay the many bills that are besieging me at present.  Have a blast and drink a pint or 10 for me.

I hear ya'! There is another one the Thursday night before the Chicago Air & Water Show that is awesome too. Keep that in mind for next month.

Where would you want everyone to meet? Across the street or do they allow within the AP again? last time I went they stopped allowing viewing from the AP itself. I hope that changed.

It is across the street now and will be every year ... the days it was on the concrete close to airport fence are over.  I pm'd you my cell number. I will be there about 5.
