Most of us don't need it because we mostly talk to our squad members. But for some of us they ain't from your squad, you make a new friend and etc. when he/she leaves you probably almost never see him/her again, so if we had a friend list we could see where they are and if they are online. If agreed then a maximum of 15 people on friend list. If you disagree share why, i need to learn from posting.
