I know that flight can be enabled or disabled by cm's...  Why not have flight automatically enabled/disabled in the ava arena according to the time of day?  Then no more confusion about when it's ok to hit targets, etc.  6pm-1am EST would be a good window of flight time for the great majority of us.

Actually a topic that has some merit and has been discussed.

Any "Auto" anything requires "code".  Presently not available.

Any shut down of the Arena will shut out someone, somewhere.  I know the Euro guys are not well represented in the Arena presently but hopefully they will be soon.  What then?  I don't think it's fair to them toclose down.  Also, I am doubting if HTC would go for it.  They have SEA for that.  Which brings us to our current state of affairs.  AvA is attempting to run scenarios and events similiar to FSO and Snapshots and other SEA type vents in a 24/7 environment.  Kudos to us! Now we just got to make it work.

I don't think you can satisfy everyone but how about satisfying the majority. I for one am all for shutting it down during off hours. The MA always has action which is where I plan on spending my times during the day from now on except to just check on the stats or if there is no question there is viable opposition.

I with you there flat.  Why can you shut down all hangers during off hours?  You can do it on the special event arena.

How about not auto. Staff takes the time to do it. unreasonable, probably but maybe?


Just curious how much time would it take to actually do the setting if there was staff willing to do it.

As an euro player opening AVA at 6 pm east means to me having to fly from midnight on to 6-8  0'clock in the morning
Given that I have a family to care about , and I have to work  the rest of the day this take me out from AVA
Given that at the moment AVA is the only reason for  I have an account, it means I'll have to close it.

No. I already covered why the answer was no with you but let me do it again.

There is no guarantee of a Staffer being available to make sure the arena is opened back up each day.If we connot get the arena opened for whatever reasons, I'm sure that would not be OK especially with some of you who want it closed. The reason its different in the SEA is pretty obvious.
