Idea - movement related visual rnage for gv

Would it be possible for the range at which dots/gv graphics appear to be related to thier speed?

Tanks always try and get under trees if possible to avoid being jabo'd, but we can't have this due to frame rate considerations.

By the same token, real-life tanks are very obvious on the move, with all the dust they throw up, and tank track marks.

Perhaps a sensible compromise would be to assume that any stationary vehicle *has* found overhead cover, and therefore has a diminished range at which the graphic/icon shows, whereas a moving one remains obvious?

I like this idea.
But shooting tanks should be for some seconds as visible as moving tanks.
