im with ya, get the La outta here to, the only thing it can do is fight *sarcasm*
Yes, but if you cannot control the B-24 at high alts with cross-winds, where are you going to go? You got no trim. You got no control, it would be very easy to lose control of your plane. A different engine (dont know which one) definately made Electricity go out. May have been the #3 engine.
Don't ask me to use the search function on this one because I already have.It is time we get the B-29. Perk it out somewhere in the 500 point range. No NUKE. NO Formation.
What is this passion with the B29? It just another big lumbering target! Why, honestly, do people fell we need this plane added?
God just killed another kitten.
I wonder the same thing about the Anti-B29'ers
back in the old days, say 2000,2001,2002, you used to be able to pilot a bomber and fire all weapons at the same time
You obviously have no experience flying the real airplane, you're statements are incorrect. At altitude the airplane doesn't know or care if there is a "cross wind" ( a term only used during landing and takeoff). The trim is a mechanical cable link from the tab to the trim wheels, the loss of an engine has no effect on trim. You most certainly do have control, the loss of an engine doesn't effect the controls -- it does effect handling and performance but the loss of a single engine on the B-24 isn't that big of a deal unless you're real heavy in which case you may not be able to maintain altitude. Unless you do something really stupid there is no risk of losing control. (And doing something really stupid can result in loss of control with all the engines running) Again, each engine has a generator, the loss of an engine does not mean you lose electrical power.I am type-rated in the B-24. I have just over 300 hours in the airplane and have flown it on 2 engines during training.
Goto Google and type in "French military victories", then hit "I'm feeling lucky".
